What Does the Shriram Life Comprehensive Cancer Care Cover?

Irrespective of the plan option selected, the life insured gets 25% of the sum assured in minor-stage cancer. The future premiums are also waived for 3 years or till the end of the policy tenure, whichever is earlier. The policy will continue till the selected tenure or till cancer advances to the major stage, whichever is earlier.

Irrespective of the plan option selected, 100% of the sum assured is paid if the life insured is diagnosed with major-stage cancer. However, if any benefit has already been paid in the minor stage, the same would be deducted. 

In the case of Option 1, the plan will be terminated after the payout. However, in the case of Option 2, the life insured would get 2% of the sum assured as monthly earnings for five years. After the last earning is paid, the policy will be terminated.
